John Prior

I joined HGC Ltd mid-season in June 2018 from Hallmark Hotels, The Welcombe GC, Stratford Upon Avon, having previously worked with Patshull Park Hotel & Golf in a similar role from the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.

Before employment as a GM I used to be a fairly handy golfer off 8, these days 11 shots aren’t enough, but I enjoy getting out when I can and look forward to playing more during the next year with our member groups and competing at various opens across the region at weekends, just to see what the competition are up to.

2019 will see a much more pro-active outlook from myself, the team, and the club as we look to give members an improved experience, attract newcomers and visitors to enjoy everything we have to offer on and off the golf course. Our members play a very important role in helping us realise opportunities locally and giving feedback on their experience of golf at courses from around the world, knowledge I will look to tap into during the year.

I look forward to a successful year for everyone linked with Hinckley GC.
