Ann Bancroft

Ann loves playing golf and remains hopeful that she'll really get the hang of it one day!

She began playing nine years ago at Drayton Park Golf Club before moving to Hinckley Golf Club in January 2018 after moving home to Stoke Golding.

Golf isn't Ann's only sporting persuit, her other interests include table tennis, short tennis, badminton, walking, Zumba and line dancing!

Jean has been a member at HGC for a long time!  Her sons all played as juniors and together with Mac her husband.

Helen Buckingham

An all round sports enthusiast, Helen is a former PE teacher and tennis coach. Outside of the classroom, Helen took up golf in 1996, and was Leicestershire & Rutland County Girls Organiser from 2002 to 2015.

She is the current Leicestershire & Rutland Lady Captains' Golf Association President with her tenure continuing through 2022!

Aside from sport development and playing golf herself, Helen's other interests include walking, gardening and keeping up with her four lively grandsons.

Jayne Eaden

Jayne started playing golf in 1998 when she got too old to run around a hockey pitch and she became a member of HGC in 2003.  

She has recently semi retired from being a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Coventry having sat on the European Board of Gastroenterology, and was awarded the British Society of Gastroenterology Presidents medal in 2018 for services to UK gastroenterology.

When not playing golf she can be found on the Lake District fells, gardening, travelling and enjoying good wine and chocolate.

Ellie York

Ellie began playing golf at the age of 7 after her Great Grandfather and Father encouraged her to start playing!

She joined Hinckley GC at the age of 16 and since then has won the Leicestershire Ladies County Championships twice and has represented the club and county at regional and national competitions.

Aside from golf, Ellie recently graduated university with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Media with Graphic Design specialism and has utilised her skills to help local PGA professionals rebrand their businesses and academies.

Annette Cattermole

Annette started playing golf in 1988 after having been inspired by Sandy Lyle winning the US Masters.

Her golf career began at Scraptoft Golf Club and she became a member of Royal Adelaide, South Australia in 2001, while 2003 saw her move to Hinckley Golf Club.

Annette's other interests include fell walking, photography, travel, local choir, and a glass of good wine at the end of the day.

Sandra has been at Hinckley Golf Club for over 20 years, and has devoted her time as a committee member of the Club for over eight!

She was Lady Captain in 2017 and 2018 and continues to be an active member of both the Women's and Mixed Sections.
