Club Sections

In addition to the main membership group, we have four additional groups of members: Woman, Mixed, Seniors and Junior sections.  These groups hold specific competitions and activities for their group.  Details of each group’s activities can be found in the table opposite and below.

Woman’s Section

The Women’s section of Hinckley Golf Club has recently achieved the Women in Golf Charter and was one of the first Clubs in the county to officially make the pledge to encourage and grow women's involvement in golf at all levels.

Mixed Section

Hinckley Golf Club has a very well supported Mixed Section.  Throughout the year we play club competitions, friendly matches against other clubs and meet regularly on Sundays just to 'throw the balls up' and play some fun golf.  If you would like to know more then please contact anyone from the list below.  Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.  Our club has a Mixed Section to be proud of.

Seniors Section

Membership of the Seniors’ section is open to all gentlemen members of age 55 or more in the current membership year, whether Full, Off Peak or a 5-day member. Currently over two hundred Seniors enjoy an extensive fixture list as well as social golf most weekdays. 

A senior’s team plays against clubs from Leicestershire and surrounding counties between May and September. The format is four ball better ball match play.

Junior Section

The junior section at Hinckley Golf Club is an integral part of the club and offers Juniors of all abilities the chance to participate in club events. There are numerous junior competitions throughout the season for those with and those without handicaps along with organised social junior golf where you can build long lasting friendships. For beginners to the game, we encourage participation in our Hotshots competitions which involves the juniors without a handicap and/or new to the environment of a golf club, a chance to play on the course and challenge themselves.
