As we move forward in 2019, to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Hinckley Golf Club with a full programme of golf days, gala dinners and themed evenings there has never been a better time to renew your membership whether that be through the 4-year ‘Loyalty Membership’ or renewing your annual subscription for the 2019/20 season.

As previously announced for the 2019/20 season we are holding the prices at those that prevailed for 2018/19. In addition to holding the prices we are introducing a number of additional benefits of being a member of Hinckley Golf Club.

Additional benefits for 2019/20:

Two free fourballs; Spring/ Summer and Autumn/ Winter – bookable via the Pro-shop.

Hinckley has joined the Association of Golf Clubs founded in 1894. This gives HGC members the opportunity to take advantage of one free round of golf per person at 19 clubs around the UK, the closest of which is Hearsall GC in Coventry. All rounds must be booked via Helen in the administration office.

Reciprocal deals with five Golf Clubs, at £10 per round, have been agreed, all booked via Pro-shop:

1)    Horsley Lodge GC

2)    Mickleover GC

3)    Uttoxeter GC

4)    Droitwich GC

5)    DeVere Staverton Park GC

We are currently working to see what other benefits we can derive in the local community which will further enhance HGC membership.

In addition to the above:

The appointment of Access Catering Limited has seen a significant improvement to both the quality of the food and the service provided in the Kabin, 19th and in Parklands. Don’t forget that members receive up to 25% discount on selected drinks when payment is made via the Green Card.

Room hire, in the Clubhouse, continues to be free to members bookable via the administration office (subject to terms and conditions)

Members can continue to receive up to £100 for the introduction and sign-up of a new member to HGC for the 2019/20 season.

Quotes have been received to tidy up the entrance to the Club with new white lines in the west car park and the pruning of trees.

Our comprehensive and focused approach to attracting new members to Hinckley has proved to be very popular with over 45 joining or re-joining the Club. This is very much in line with the ambitious target set at the commencement of the programme. This will have a significant impact in reversing the trend we have seen in recent years where we, like many clubs in the UK, have seen a decline in membership numbers.

We believe we have a Golf Club to be proud of and with the enhanced benefits linked to a price freeze for 2019/20 we look forward to you renewing your membership by March 31st, 2019.
