Hey Helen,

I just want to pass on my genuine and sincere thanks to everyone involved in running the club; from the Office, Bar, Restaurant, Pro Shop and importantly the Greens Staff...it often goes unnoticed or recognised and just accepted that things just happen...and the course and club are both in excellent condition.

And I must say, that after visiting a course in Northamptonshire yesterday, for a society event, that I found it to be in a suboptimal course/club condition (was awful) - from course conditions, to slack Cov-19 protocols, I finished the day feeling REALLY proud being a member at Hinckley GC (as I played 9 holes first thing in the morning at Hinckley, I had a direct comparison that day), it’s absolutely amazing to have a great course in great condition but recognise that it doesn’t just happen - I realise that a lot of time and effort goes in to the club and I wanted to say Thank You, I feel lucky and proud to be a member!

A big thank you to yourselves and staff at Hinckley GC for a great day's golf and hospitality. It was well set up for the social distancing aspect also. 

The course was in fantastic condition and all members of our society enjoyed the day.

Dear Board members,

I popped into golf Club the other day for a drink on the new patio and thought what a great improvement to one of the best golf clubs around here.

Many many thanks from me to all involved for the hard work, commitment and vision, it felt like it connected the golf course to the club house and was a real pleasure sitting there saying hello and chatting to members walking off the course and coming in for a drink.

Just wanted to congratulate your greens staff and club on how good the course, greens, new patio etc. were today.

The atmosphere created and the two ball voucher for me as a visiting guest was an excellent touch, unlike my golf that lacked touch today.

But a huge thanks for staging this Invitation and i hope your member invites me back next year.

Two of us played on your course today as a free courtesy as our course (Kilworth Springs) was hosting the Leicestershire Alliance. It was the only day my friend could play this week.

Can I just thank you for your hospitality and how easy you made it for us to book. Other clubs in the alliance were quite obstructive to our requests, despite having the same reciprocal arrangement through the alliance.

Just to say thank you to the President and golf pro and other members of your club for making our away day from Horsley Lodge such a pleasant day!

The course is very good despite the weather, very interesting! The food was excellent, all in all a great day.

The course was in great condition, food fantastic and the members we met very welcoming, especially your President! We had a great day topped off by Branston winning the semi-final so nothing could have been better.

Dear Sirs, 
I (along with an old work friend) played in your Open Tournament on Sunday, and I just wanted to say thank you for hosting it and compliment you on the course and the warm welcome we received. 
The course was in excellent condition considering the difficult conditions through the summer, and we were impressed, and very much enjoyed the layout.
The welcome at some courses can be questionable, but that was not the case at Hinckley. Everyone was very friendly and professional, from the pro in the golf shop, to the gentleman organising registration, to the starter. The members we played with were also great company.

Can I say a big THANK YOU to all the staff at Hinckley Golf Club for their hospitality at yesterdays County Vets Ladies Crystal trophies competition.

The green staff have produced a course in lovely condition, and green fairways were very welcome after such a hot dry spell of weather, so please say well done to Adam, and the greens staff, the ladies from across the county appreciated it.

Thanks to Helen for setting up the leaflet, and co-ordinating our requirements, and Neil for the catering and hospitality and bar staff from early morning to the evening when the last teams finished, it was a long day! Having tea/coffee and toast and tea-cakes available early was excellent.

It was lovely to see the Club President and Captain also at the day... 172 ladies is a daunting prospect, but a lovely atmosphere was evident. The starters for the day, Bob Watts and Malcolm Porter provided the Ladies with an excellent send off to their round, (I am not sure who enjoyed it more!).

The pro-shop and Amy were very helpful on the day, and ensured that the ladies had the opportunity to be adequately hydrated.

Please pass on the Thank you to everyone involved.

For the record,  a home team of 4 Hinckley ladies won the event!
