I just wanted to say how fantastic everything was on Monday. We were so impressed.

The food was very fresh, high quality, with generous portions and enjoyed by all. The coffee and tea were constantly topped up.

The bar lady, sorry not sure of her name, was kind and friendly as was the gentleman who helped with the buffet.

Dear Mr Ayre,

Yesterday your Club hosted the wake of my Mother, a past Lady Captain and President.

From the start of our dealings, Helen Wilebore was the consummate cheerful professional, and this was reflected in the actions and attitudes of her team, particularly Sally, but by all the administrative and bar staff and even the decorator.

Everyone bent over backwards to help and when several family members turned up, by necessity, nearly an hour early, they were unblinking in their support and hospitality, reacting positively to all the little last-minute challenges that can arise on such occasions.

Thanks to the willing professionalism and helpfulness of your team, Mum got a perfect farewell, of which she would have been really proud. I was seriously impressed and am extremely grateful.

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas.

I just wanted to thank everyone at Hinckley Golf Club for the fabulous party night we had with you on December 20th. I have booked many of these nights at various venues and have to say yours has been the best for the following reasons.

• The room looked lovely and was a good size.
• The numbers were just right, you didn’t get greedy and cram too many people in like a lot of venues do.
• The service and the food was outstanding, not at all like the usual mass catering that we usually find at Christmas.
• The disco music was nice and varied to suit everyone’s taste.
• Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly and efficient.

In short we had no complaints at all and every one of us enjoyed the evening, so happy new year to you all and hope you have a successful 2020.

Thank you for making my mum's 80th birthday afternoon tea so lovely. It was really cosy being in 'The Snug' and the actual tea was delicious. Val in the kitchen kept us supplied with pots of tea and coffee, and a nice knife to cut the cake with. She was very friendly and helpful, and helped me afterwards when everyone had gone home.

First may I say what a wonderful afternoon tea we had last Wednesday. Prepared and looked after by the lovely Val!! Fantastic.

Just wanted to say thankyou for looking after us so well on the 16th August at Home Companions 10th Anniversary Party.

All the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough to help, and the food was excellent.

I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ to you and your staff for a wonderful day yesterday. Everyone couldn’t have been kinder and It was so relaxed we ended up spending the whole day there.

The food was delicious, you had put signs up and the staff were lovely.
